Financial worries are a major reason why women stay in abusive relationships

Financial empowerment helps all women

It’s especially important for women dealing with major life events or challenges like domestic violence.

As a social enterprise, Wellthy is committed to making our programs accessible to all.  This includes women with limited financial resources and women struggling with the impacts of financial abuse or family violence.

We were accepted into the ING Direct Dreamstarter program in mid 2017

The following people have pledged $100+ towards scholarships or workshops for vulnerable Australian women.

Other Ways you can Support Financial Well-being For Women

  • Engage Wellthy to deliver a program at your workplace, or next wellness event. Sign up for our online course. Or both! For every paid program, we will offer a scholarship to allow another woman to participate.  You can also purchase a scholarship as a gift for a deserving woman.

  • Make a donation to support our community programs. Wellthy is keen to offer as many financial well-being and education programs for women in need as we can. We facilitate face-to-face workshops in partnership with local charities supporting women. Tax-deductible donation receipts are available – please contact us for more information.
  • Volunteer with us! We would love the support of skilled volunteers or student interns to help us empower more women. Two current opportunities exist for (1) a volunteer grant writer, and (2) someone to compile available research on women’s financial well-being so that it is easily share-able on social media. If you feel you can help, please get in touch!

  • Become a business partner: If you share our mission to financially empower women, we are open to partnership opportunities. Please contact us to discuss.

Women Benefit from Partnership in Logan

During 2016, Wellthy delivered a series of introductory financial well-being workshops at community venues in the Logan area of South East Queensland in partnership with the Logan Women’s Health and Wellbeing Centre.  This program was made possible due to the generosity of a private donor.  We look forward to seeing this partnership, and others like it, grow in the future.
